Ashiana

Ashiana offers a safe and secure environment to BAMER adults, children and young people., children and young people fleeing domestic and sexual abuse including forced marriage, human trafficking, female genital mutilation, gang violence and ‘honour’ based violence.

Based in Sheffield, Ashiana provides support to Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic and Refugee (BAMER) adults, children and young people fleeing domestic and sexual abuse. Established over 30 years ago, Ashiana is one of the leading charities helping BAMER women and their children across the UK.

The women and children that Ashiana helps are likely to have been in emotional and violent situations which require experienced individuals to support and look after them. Ashiana works in partnership with a number of national organisations including drug and alcohol support agencies, social care services and the police.
