Bahar Women’s Association offers support to vulnerable individuals in Leeds.
Bahar AFG Women’s Association works tirelessly to help individuals and communities in Leeds , reducing isolation and offering support to those that are vulnerable or alone.
Founded by Bahar, the small team are dedicated to making sure women feel included in the community, regardless of where they have come from. They offer a series of courses to help, including domestic violence training courses and English classes.
We’re donating £250 to Bahar Women’s Association to help support the great work they are doing with helping vulnerable women in Leeds.
Why did we choose Bahar Women’s Association?
We have an existing relationship with Bahar Women’s Association, having previously offered free legal advice clinics to the individuals they help and support.
Following this, a number of internal Ison Harrison staff nominations were made and we felt Bahar Women’s Association was a deserving charity for our #TheBig40 campaign.
