Joanna Project helps vulnerable women across Leeds.
Joanna Project is a local Leeds initiative helping vulnerable women to escape abuse and addiction. The charity aims to offer ongoing help and support to make women feel safe in their community.
In addition to daytime support, Joanna also has an evening outreach team which is made up of volunteers who go out and offer food and drink as well as someone to talk to.
Why did we choose Joanna?
With a number of nominations received for Joanna, we had no hesitation including them in our #TheBig40 campaign.
The work Joanna does is essential in supporting vulnerable women in Leeds and we hope our donation will help.
